OLYMPIA COMPANIES CHARITABLE FOUNDATION
Since its inception, the Olympia Companies SH Charitable Foundation has helped many children, teens, and women in need. Through a variety of events including the annual Fall Festival, Memorial Day Event, The Governor’s Black Tie, and numerous other Southern Highlands community events.
We have raised over $28.5 million that has been distributed to numerous charities and their beneficiaries. Monies raised over the years have allowed organizations to provide clothing to disadvantaged school children, send children with life-threatening illnesses to summer camp, add valuable programs for the intellectually disabled, improve tutoring opportunities for children in need, advance resources necessary to those families with children diagnosed with cancer, and support a first-class museum where children in Las Vegas can learn and play. We are so proud that our community giving helps to fund these programs, where miracles can truly happen.

BENEFITING CHARITIES
The mission of The Boys and Girls Club of Southern Nevada is to enable young people, especially those who need help the most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. The Boys and Girls Club's programs goal is to enrich the lives and shape the futures of youth, transitioning them into adulthood with healthy habits, a high school diploma, and a clear plan for their future. Every program at the 13 Southern Nevada clubhouses is developed to meet the needs and interests of the specific community's youth, with a focus on the three key priorities: Academic Success, Good Character and Leadership, and Healthy Lifestyle.
The $11+ million-dollar Southern Highlands Clubhouse and campus was built through monetary and in-kind donations from the annual Fall Festival and Governor's Black Tie events. The community's partnership allows children in Southern Highlands to have a place to fill the gap between school and home, where they can learn, grow, and play in a state-of-the-art facility nestled in the heart of the Southern Highlands Master Planned Community.

At Andson, our mission is to educate, inform, and inspire youth and young adults by delivering innovative programs in academics, financial literacy, and mentoring. We believe delivering both financial and educational support to students, can aid not only in their academic careers, but also in their personal development. Our programs educate and empower students to achieve sound and promising futures.
Our goal is to support these vital aspects of development, equipping students with the necessary life skills to close the education gap and avoid the financial crises that often plague the adult lives of at-risk, disadvantaged youth.
We intend to achieve these outcomes by focusing on two objectives:
• Academic improvement, achieved by comprehensive after school tutoring support and measured in grade level literacy assessments currently in use through our school systems
• Financial literacy improvement, achieved through effective financial education, when possible encouraging savings habits through actual practice
Andson programs are intended to serve a broad age range of children in the Las Vegas, Boulder City and Henderson areas. The majority of youth in our programs are at-risk, low-income and under served – some of the most vulnerable in Southern Nevada.
Given the startling statistics on the lack of financial literacy in America, there is clearly a need for well-designed financial literacy programs in our schools.
